Big Easy Press was an imprint and blog created for the purpose of being the home for the published works and future collaborations of Danny Cherry Jr. (Me!). I also have my published magazine writing listed in the published work tab!
For now, this place will be the central hub for my work. But, maybe one day, you will see this place shift from just being a home for my work, to publishing the books of others.

BIO:
By day, Danny Cherry Jr. is a Customer Service Representative and caffeine-addled office-drone with an MBA. But by night, he’s a novelist, short story writer, and sometimes-journalist from New Orleans. He’s a contributor to Gambit and Antigravity Magazine, and his journalism has been published in Buzzfeed News, Politico, Daily Beast, Bucks County Beacon, Progressive Magazine, and more. His fiction and other creative work has appeared in Apex Magazine, Fiyah, Hexagon Magazine, Space Cowboys, amongst others.
He’s the president of Third Lantern Lit, a literary non-profit based out of New Orleans, and his first novel came out January 22, 2024, titled, “The Pike Boys,” a 1920s organized crime drama set in New Orleans.
